H2O

H2O....that's our name for our High School Ministry.  Why H2O?  Thanks for asking!  Jesus talks of living water in John 4:14.  Jesus was offering something far better than regular water.  He said that whoever drinks of His living water would never thirst again.  In other words, He was offering them the opportunity to live forever in a real place called heaven.  Water is also refreshing.  It is something that cools and sooths and relaxes.  That's what we want our high school students to be like to others.  We want them to be able to offer this Living Water to everyone they come in contact with, and also that they would be refreshing and soothing to others.

PURE

PURE...in an impure world.  James 1:27 tells us, "Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world."  That verse sums up our Middle School (6th-8th grade) ministry.  This is what we want from our Middle School students: to care for those around them and to stay unspotted (or PURE) from the world.
